Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for their Celebrate Women Blog Hop.
My project features the Good Job Mama stamp set designed by the one and only Cathy Zielske. The sentiments in this set really hit home for me and I chose to use eight of them because I just couldn’t choose one.
I trimmed several sentiment strips out of solid colored cardstock and embossed the sentiments in white as well as the large sentiment on the slate background panel.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

April 25, 2019 at 8:20 amYou nailed it! I know that others go through stuff just like I do but they hide it better – so amazing. A card like this to someone that is going through stuff and hiding it well, will surely make them feel un-alone. Great card for a great stamp set. Thanks for your inspiration and caring – it shows.

April 25, 2019 at 9:17 amBOY! Isn’t that the TRUTH! Sorry to say, it sometimes doesn’t end after the kids are grown & out on their own either! As a mom, you feel EVERY BUMP your kids go through! I’ve been trying to encourage a friend of mine who is going through it with her grown children. Life IS HARD!!! At EVERY TURN!!! It is those hard times, that make us what we are! 😉 A BEAUTIFUL CARD, Laura!!! LOVE what you’ve done with this set! 😉 INKY HUGS DEAR LADY! <3

April 25, 2019 at 11:14 amYou GO MAMA! You own the rainbow Laura–and it’s gorgeous! I noticed you had “endless laundry”, that’s how I used to feel, it’s never done! Always more and more. My kids are adults and out of the house, but I remember those days when I was frustrated, trying to teach these little ones everything they needed to know to be successful adults–and they are! I’m one proud Mama, still here for them to listen, prop them up and encourage when they are feeling down or having issues. But that is what it’s all about–and I’m so thankful to have the experience of being a Mama. Keep on going -and own that rainbow!
