Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their DieCember® Release Blog Hop! I’ve created a couple of projects featuring a few of their fun, new dies.
My first card uses the Birthday Wishes Circle die along with the Burst die.
I used one of the Nested Circle dies to create a window opening to frame the Burst die cut. Behind the Burst I blended Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch. The Birthday Wishes was die cut with metallic gold cardstock.
This next card is uses the Winter Wishes Circle die along with the Burst die.
Everything is exactly as the first card except for this one I used warm tones for the blending: Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
GIVEAWAY!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop. Winners will be chosen over the weekend and posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, December 11th.

December 7, 2019 at 2:51 pmOh my where to start. I think that you work way to hard on your die cuts!! You might need a different machine, just a thought. So creative! Such seamless blending! You brought a lump to my throat about your family and being together for Christmas. I am so excited for you and the true Christmas gift! I can’t imagine 3 December birthdays, yikes. My Grandmothers birthday was on Christmas eve. She made me promise if I had a baby in December I would pick a different month to celebrate their day. She said because she never had a real birthday. If she did get a birthday present it was always in Christmas paper so it didn’t seem like a birthday and everyone was so busy it wasn’t really her day. So, my thoughts are wow 3, no wonder you haven’t posted a video!!! But, you made the right choice!!Again, I am so happy for you and yours. Enjoy every moment and don’t sweat the small stuff. Godspeed for safe and easy travels for your family.

It will help to have family there for Christmas. There’s a magazine called Deutsch Perferkt that can help you with learning die Sprache.

December 11, 2019 at 11:02 pmGreat cards!! I love how you have both a “cool-toned” and a “warm-toned” option. Seeing different color palettes of the same card shows how much color can affect the mood of a design, and this design would look great in ANY combination! Hope you are staying warm and happy in Germany and that you have a blessed Christmas!
