Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their Twinkle & Shine Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog.
I created two projects with a couple of these fantastic new products.
This card features the Mandala Maker stamp set along with the coordinating Mandala Maker die set. I used several of the gradient cardstock sets for the small die cut shapes. I added tiny crystals here and there as well. The sentiment is from Many Thanks.
This next card uses the Pen Sketched Silhouette stamp set & coordinating die set.
I stamped the images with multiple inks to create a gradient color. Both cards have white panels and are popped up onto a Lawn Fawn Fog card base.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Giveaway Prizes:
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 11/10/2020 for a chance to win.
Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 11/12/2020.
The next stop on the hop is the lovely Erum Tasneem.

November 4, 2020 at 5:03 pmAs per usual you helped start my day with a smile! Oh, not because you dropped your ring down the elevator shaft, but because you could retrieve it with a hockey stick and tape with the process lighted by your phone! Oh and the cards are beautiful too! Altenew strikes again!

Loved your story and SO glad you got the ring back!!! Your card is GORGEOUS and BEYOND GORGEOUS!!
Thx,

November 5, 2020 at 3:25 amThe card featuring the Mandala maker stamps and dies is stunning in its color and design! With the sweet sentiment and the amount of work it took, I think someone very special should receive this! I’m thinking your mom or daughter back here in the states. Or, having hearing the heroics of your husband in the ring story, perhaps Mark has earned such a special card!

November 5, 2020 at 3:46 amAs always, beautiful cards! Glad you found your ring. I know how heart stopping that can be. I lost my ring at a golf course once. After hours of searching (and crying) I found it nestled in a hole in the asphalt of the parking lot. Safe and sound.

November 5, 2020 at 3:48 pmWow Laura, isn’t life full of adventures & challenges? (some of which we could do without. lol) Your cards are both incredible!! Talk about a labour of love with the Mandala one! I could never have the patience for that, plus I have Positional tremors which would just make it nigh onto impossible. I love the way you achieved the gradient colours on your second card. Even though you just stamped the inks, I couldn’t see any hard lines in between them. Just beautiful! I’m sure your husband is your hero.

November 5, 2020 at 7:48 pmHoly Smokes! That mandala is Be- a – U -ti- Full!! While watching your video, I was so mesmerized and entranced with you creating the mandala! But I don’t think I’d have the patience you do to cut and assemble all those little pieces! The Silhouette stamp is more my speed and mindset. Loved your story about your ring!
JoAnneRIL
November 5, 2020 at 9:20 pmWow to the wow.. That Mandala card is genius. Both are beautiful. I’ll bet your heart sank when your ring went flying. Awesome you were able to get it back.

November 6, 2020 at 3:39 amThe ring story made me nervous—I could see that your ring was safely on your finger, but elevator shaft stories usually don’t end well. The geometry of the mandala is beautiful, but I know I lack the patience to use that much dimension.
