Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for their Hello Beautiful Release Blog Hop! You can check the amazing new release HERE!
For my cards I used the Mix & Match Squares stamp set.
I used the MISTI to help me get consistent, even spacing. I used several different shades of Pinkfresh Studio inks to stamp each square a shade darker but in the same color family.
For the sentiment I embossed the Welcome sentiment from the CZ Welcoming set in white onto Slate cardstock. You KNOW I love you when I’m willing to share my fries with you😂
I love this Welcoming set because it has so many versatile and humorous sentiments to pair with the larger sentiment.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

February 28, 2021 at 6:17 pmDear Laura –
A few thoughts…. First, your work is always stellar. Love these cards.
Second, the second I saw this set, I thought of you. Regular geometric patterns scream LB/ LF.
Third, my prayers are going out to Alex and to you. Let’s hope for good news!
Fourth, even before you got to the news about Alex (and the comment about Boaz’s game, which for me is past by now since I am getting to comment much later than usual thanks to an overly hectic Saturday), I knew you were distracted a bit. You say “circle” in the video when you mean “square” at one point and instead of “an inch and two-eighths” you say “an eighth and two inches” at one spot. No worries, but I knew something was up.
Fifth, love you and your designs and your videos are ALWAYS WELCOME, as your card sentiment states. If you came to see me in the US, I would be so bowled over and OF COURSE I would share my fries or get you your own large fries and we’d have a Coke together, too.
Hoping for the best for Alex.
