Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for their Good Luck Charm release blog hop. You can check out the awesome new release HERE!
My project features the Chinese Lantern Stem die. For the background I blended Antique Linen onto Ivory cardstock using one of the Layered Confetti stencils. For the sentiment I used one of the CZ Reverse Well Wishes sentiment strips.
Here is a video showing how I created this card.

February 19, 2022 at 9:26 amTotally loving this card. The āpurposely offsetā blooms seem to be almost 3D and that adds so much more dimension (āwhich is life,ā ya know) to the design. š
I also really like those triangle trays, but I donāt typically use sequins, so Iām trying to think of another way Iād use them, and I like the soft background you achieved with the stencils!

February 19, 2022 at 7:37 pmHi, Laura — I actually gasped when you revealed the result of your online search to show the “Christmas rainbow” (well, practically) of the Chinese Lantern! Wow – I bet that set your heart to beatin’ faster! Love the card and maybe I will need to invest in a retractable needle tool. BTW your nails look great. I got the O & J kit and liked it. I think there is a lot to be said for their polish formula. It stayed on longer w/o chipping than many other brands I have used. This school year is so rough that I have let my nails go and now I have pulled cuticles on about 4/10 fingers (counting thumbs, obvi). You’ve inspired me to get going and use at least the cuticle repair stuff again. I thought it was really helpful.
Have a great Sunday!
