Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp & several talented designers to showcase their new Mothers, Fathers & Florals release.I was inspired by Kristina Werner’s shaker card here and wanted to try a jumbo version showcasing the Star Flower background cling.
I embossed the Star Flower in clear and blended two inks from the Morning Sun cube set along with Lemon Zing.
I added a sentiment using the Big Mom die along with a coordinating embossed sentiment from Mom and Dad Icon stamp set.
I used a different color combination on this one with High Dive, Mint Candy & Jellybean. The sentiment is from the Big U stamp & die set. I filled both circle shakers with lots of different sequins from Simon Says Stamp & Pretty Pink Posh.
Here’s a video to show you how I created my card.
Giveaway!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a prize package worth over $25 to every stop on the hop.
Winners will be posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Tuesday, April 11th.

April 11, 2017 at 4:35 pmThese are both gorgeous!!! The remind me of beautiful patterns you see in sarongs with sequins sewn on! Shaker cards *are* a gamble when deciding how many sequins to put in!!! I try to leave piece of cut plastic like the backing of the foam adhesive until I’ve turned it over and tested it so I can add more if needed in the spot. Mine always seem to need more… I’ve yet to ever too many the first time! LOL

January 13, 2023 at 10:53 amWith havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism
or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely unique
content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a
lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my
permission. Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being stolen? I’d genuinely
appreciate it.
