Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Spellbinders for their October blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Seth Apter’s blog. I have a project featuring the beautiful Little Plants Etched dies. I blended several distress inks onto Bristol paper and then die cut it using the Little Plants Etched dies.I flicked some black acrylic paint onto the background and embossed a sentiment from the Scripted stamp set by Papertrey Ink.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

October 16, 2017 at 10:39 amWhat a gorgeous card! I wish my brain would work like yours when I attempt to make a card that is so clean and pretty. But nope, my brain is a cluttered mess (much like my house) and I get completely overwhelmed. 🙂 I enjoyed the video you included!

October 16, 2017 at 10:52 amOh my! I haven’t seen autumn leaves in 45 years! That’s when I moved to Florida which does have some color, lots of pink red, tons of dull yellow, and tired green and brown. Your leaves made me smile just to see them. I have to make this card just to relive old memories of Wisconsin and those few weeks in autumn that make your heart sing loudly.

October 16, 2017 at 11:01 amLovely colors. I am not ready for Christmas yet, but I have started. The problem: I will get 10 new ideas a day by the time I am finished and I end up with way more than the number of people I know! Then I am begging for somebody to set up a card drive!!! I am so glad you came back to autumn. But I am a little jealous of all the long sleeves I am seeing. We are just now getting a break and I am barely below the Mason/Dixon line! Thanks so much for brightening my day.

October 16, 2017 at 3:14 pmHi Laura ~ Absolutely love what you’ve done with these leaf and vine dies. Starting off by blending some Distress Inks together in fall colors is smart since you get to choose your favorite part of the blending to die cut the image from. Loosely attaching them to the card gives the images extra life and dimension. Thanks so much for sharing and for including another fabulous video. Have an awesome week. ~HUGS~
