Hi there! It’s almost Christmas! Ahhhh…I need like another week to get my act together. My back is killing me from sitting on the floor and wrapping presents, ha! I’m getting too old for this stuff! Just popping in to share a quick & simple christmas card that I made the other day using the Christmas Trees dies by Simon Says Stamp.I die cut several trees out of solid colored cardstock and also some December Days pattern paper by Pinkfresh Studio.
I stitched the trees on with my sewing machine and silver thread and added a sentiment from the Coolest Yulest stamp set. This stamp set has been one of my most used sets this season. I just love it!
Thinking of all of you during this season and thankful that you take time to stop by my old blog. Sending holiday hugs your way!
Season’s Greetings

This is such a beautiful card. You are such an inspiration. Thank you! I’ve decided that my new year’s resolution will be to make 4 Christmas cards each month in 2018. This will be my ^January” card.

December 24, 2017 at 9:41 amAnother adorable card – love those Christmas trees. I would have to do adhesive instead of stitching. Great idea for next year for me. Wishing you and your lovely family a very merry Christmas and all the best in 2018!

December 24, 2017 at 4:16 pmYour cards are BEAUTIFUL, Laura!!! LOVE the simple design & just your way with paper! 😉 I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND the back issue! LOL I’ve found it easier to wrap as you get, so you don’t end up doing it all at once & little peaking eyes have less a chance of seeing too! 😉 HOPE you & yours have a MERRY CHRISTMAS & just enjoy the day together!!!!!

March 23, 2019 at 6:01 amThis is just stunning! Love your design! In fact, I love it so much that I had to recreate it 🙂
https://ninasays.wordpress.com/2019/02/24/christmas-tags-cards/ (Sorry, it’s a long long post :D)
The card design seems simple, but the sewing with metallic thread can be a bit challenging (mine kept ripping) – it adds such a special touch and is worth it! Thank you so much for the inspiration!! <3
