Happy New Years everyone! Today I’m honored to join several lovely crafters for a Seasons Givings blog hop. This is a HUGE hop with a giveaway offered by each individual on each stop of the hop. I have a fun little New Years project that I created using the Simple Numbers dies by Simon Says Stamp. I used my Silhouette to create the little rectangle windows and backed each number with colored cardstock.
I made a fun, slider feature so that you can pull & reveal the “8” for “2018”. I added an embossed sentiment using the Jumbo Stripes stamp set.
And now for the giveaway! Everything below is brand new. I often accumulate doubles of things with my design work and this was the perfect opportunity for me to pass it along to a loving home:) Here is what is included in the giveaway:

My New Years crafty goal is to learn one new technique per month and to share this in my monthly āBuild Your Stashā class, where I encourage others to share their new ideas. I do this card making class for all the events in our lives. We have all created a beautiful āboxā where we store our āStashā cards so that they are easy to find when an event comes up. I love being surrounded by my friends and family and helping each of them to keep their passion for paper crafting alive in their hearts!

January 3, 2018 at 7:10 pmWow- Just setting up a new (to me) windows computer and I added you as a quick tab on firefox and lo and behold- This came up! Just in time to maybe win!!!! Thank you! My granddaughter and I made a popup card yesterday following your instructions for the planet “out of this world” card (which I’m planning on making for her brother in April). We embossed the box part of the pop-up card with a basket-weave embossing folder, hit it with purple ink pad to color the highlights, and filled the basket with a wide variety of punched flowers, colored, glitzed up, etc. Added a label punch on the front with a happy birth stamped greeting and it is SO CUTE. (She’s only 7!) I cut the paper but she scored, cut the little tab and made the slit, punched and colored the flowers and I helped with the glue but she totally did all the placement. Adorable. Love your directions. thank you so much for all your wonderful ideas!

My little students are always talking about how they *used* to be 5, but *now* they’re 6, but *before* they were 5, but then they had a birthday and *now* they’re 6…unlike *before* when they were 5! So I can just imagine using that concept on a birthday card (where it says something like “Congratulations, today you are 5!” – but they pull on the slider and the number changes to “6”).
