Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom

Hello! Today I’m joining Altenew to showcase the gorgeous new Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom set.Altenew-Build-A-Flower: Sakura BlossomTo begin I die several floral openings into cream cardstock using the largest floral die from the Sakura die set. Then, lining up the cream panel over a white cardbase, I stamped the floral detail with Frosty Pink.
Altenew-Build-A-Flower: Sakura BlossomI stamped the smaller flowers with Frosty Pink & Coral Berry and popped them up into the centers of the larger flowers. I also added a few leaves that were stamped with Bamboo. The sentiment was embossed in white onto Slate cardstock.

    Hi Laura,

What a great idea to die cut the larger of the flower dies on the background layer before stamping the smaller flower and cutting this out with the co-ordinating die to put on the top. I am looking for different ways of creating backgrounds and this is certainly one way I can try out, thank you. :o)
