Hello! Today I’m joining Altenew to showcase the gorgeous new Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom set.To begin I die several floral openings into cream cardstock using the largest floral die from the Sakura die set. Then, lining up the cream panel over a white cardbase, I stamped the floral detail with Frosty Pink.
I stamped the smaller flowers with Frosty Pink & Coral Berry and popped them up into the centers of the larger flowers. I also added a few leaves that were stamped with Bamboo. The sentiment was embossed in white onto Slate cardstock.
GIVEAWAY!
Leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog or/and Scrapbook Blog for a chance to win one of four $30 gift certificates. Winners will be announced on January 26th on both blogs. (Two winners chosen from the card blog post, two winners chosen from the scrapbook blog post.)
You can also leave me a comment for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Altenew!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

January 27, 2018 at 7:44 pmHi Laura,
What a great idea to die cut the larger of the flower dies on the background layer before stamping the smaller flower and cutting this out with the co-ordinating die to put on the top. I am looking for different ways of creating backgrounds and this is certainly one way I can try out, thank you. :o)
