Hello again! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the fun Occasional Labels stamp set.I used the Could Nine-Creative Cuts to create this fun scene. For the background I used pattern paper by My Favorite Things.
Who can resist rainbow raindrops?? I popped each one of those little suckers up with foam tape, too, cuz I like to torture myself, but I just couldn’t resist the dimension:) Lovin’ those sweet eyelashes on the cloud, too. I used a small paint brush to dap Blush ink for the cheek color. I realized that occasionally I need a super tiny ink blender for adding subtle check color. Any suggestions?
To finish it off I added one of the fun sentiments from the Occasional Labels set. This set is so versatile and always looks great on any design. That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

January 26, 2018 at 8:06 amHi, Laura. I love your cards! I use a Q-tip as a mini ink blender. Have a great day!

January 26, 2018 at 8:31 amYour card is adorable ! And a great idea to use the bits and pieces from the beautiful Wrap Thanks cards !
As for the small ink blender, I use a small foam applicator used normally for make-up. For even smaller cheeks what we call here a q-tips : they are the little sticks with cotton at the end made to “clean” the ears. My ENT specialist says using them is the best way to have problems with my ears, so I use them for crafting – LOL !

January 26, 2018 at 9:29 amThis is SO CUTE, Laura!!! AND OF COURSE, the rain drops would be RAINBOW! LOL 😉 For subtle color with ink blending, I like those little sponges you put your finger in….. they’re black with a little sponge on the end & sometimes you can get them in a storage box. Amazon has them & I believe SSS has them too. I got some for Christmas for my Oxide Inks for small areas……. 😉 Now, I have to figure out how to label them for each color! LOL I’m thinking of numbering them… That might be the easiest. HOPE that helps some.

January 26, 2018 at 9:49 amSweet little card. Would a Q-Tip work?

January 26, 2018 at 9:53 amMaybe an old school foam eyeshadow applicator would work as a tiny ink blending tool!

January 27, 2018 at 6:47 pmThat’s what I use for tiny spots—works great. Has anyone else had their finger sponge daubers completely disintegrate? I went to use mine recently, and the sponge just crumbled.

January 26, 2018 at 11:41 amHi Laura lovely card as usual! Adore the rainbow drops.
I’m thinking cheap foam eyeshadow brushes might do it for sweet cheeks?
Thanks for all your inspiration xx

January 26, 2018 at 5:02 pmYour card is adorable ! The raindrops are perfect to use the remaining pieces of cardstock from the Wrap Thank cards !
For the small ink blender, I use a small foam applicator normally done for make-up, or even for smaller dots, I use q-tips. My ENT specialist told me that using them for my ears was the best way to have ears problems, so I use them for crafting – LOL !

January 27, 2018 at 7:15 pmHi Laura,
Normally I am not one for objects having eyes and mouths etc. but this cloud does look rather sweet and I do love her cheeks. I would use a sponge finger dauber but if that is too big then maybe a q-tip might work. All in all though, a very sweet card with a lovely sentiment. :o)

January 30, 2018 at 2:16 pmSo cute, Laura, and those lashes are to die for! Foam-tipped makeup applicators work pretty well for tiny ink blending. Seems funny to be suggesting something to you since you are the Queen of Ink Blending! ❤️
