February 21, 2018 at 12:24 pmYou had me at the ink blending, but then you added cutie patootie dogs to it! Love it!!! Wish the stamp set had a golden or a labrador though 😉 Then it would be perfect! Big dog owners never get our dog breeds in stamps… only the little “cute” dogs. I’m so sorry for you that you have a child that is allergic! You watch, when she’s old enough to make decisions for herself, she’ll get a dog and choose to get allergy shots and you’ll be like “I could’ve had a dog all along if you were ok with shots!”

February 21, 2018 at 1:32 pmYour card is absolutely adorable ! Thank you so much for the inspiration.
I would feel terrible if I was allergic and could not live with my dogs and cats (two and three, my friends are calling my flat “the zoo”, I don’t understand why…. ! LOL !)

February 21, 2018 at 2:00 pmI love the colors you used for the background and the blending was seamless! I haven’t found the new distress oxide colors locally yet, so I may have to order them. The Mermaid Lagoon is gorgeous! So cute how you tucked the puppies into the little cubbyholes. Your card is definitely “puppylicious”!

February 21, 2018 at 4:35 pmVery cute card. You mention that you want a pet quite often… not that it helps you now, however the science now backs up that children born into homes with pets are less likely to develop allergies and asthma. Very interesting although not much help to you. I will wade in on the puppy subject though. Puppies are cute. Puppies also bite scratch jump up dig and chew, they destroy stuff until they are trained which can be a long process… that’s why they are cute, it is a self preservation thing. You’d kill them otherwise, I guess babies are cute for the same reason ;-). If the chance ever arises, give an adult dog from the pound a second chance, they are grateful normally great dogs that just need a bit of time most people aren;t interested in putting in. You will be rewarded. Not having pets sounds like the best solution for you in the current situation, nothing worse than a dog or worse still a cat which is banished to live outside for life with little attention.

February 21, 2018 at 5:28 pmLove the video, but had to come back here and say “labradoodle!” I am allergic to dogs AND have a rare lung disease, but doc recommended a labradoodle if I felt I needed a dog! The kick is they are mucho dinero! But, what you do is find a breeder who needs help making the dogs family friendly. Our breeder took care of all the medical bills, puppy shots, etc. The goal was to raise dogs she could sell or breed. By helping through the breeding process, we could eventually have a puppy or keep a mommy dog for no cost. These sweet dogs do not shed, so they are hypoallergenic. We loved those babies, but my back went out and I had to have surgery, so I couldn’t bathe and brush them. That was two years ago. I had two more back surgeries last week. If these work, there may be another labradoodle in our future. :o) Just Google. They come in different sizes depending on which poodle they are crossed with. Ours were small “chocolates!” Emma would love ’em!
