Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the WPlus9 blog featuring the adorable Plush Friend Pup Die.I am a HUGE shape card fan and these Plush Friends dies by WPlus9 are perfect for making them. With this die you can make either a pup or a pig. There’s also an adorable Plush Friends Panda die, too!
I die cut my pup out of cream cardstock and added cream stitching around the outsides, which is totally optional. I think I could get into this stitching on cards thing. Guess it’s time to get more embroidery floss, in every color of course, and then organize it, label it and store it. Whew, do I wanna open this can of worms?
Not that the pup needed any help in the cutie patootie department, but I decided to add a bouquet of balloons. Everything’s better with balloons, am I right? I used an old circle punch, but you could also use a circle die or a balloon die, too.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

April 11, 2018 at 12:48 pmYes – open the can! You certainly won’t be the only one with worm cans stacked all over their ‘area’ so much that it’s almost impossible to actually use the worms! LOL

April 11, 2018 at 1:29 pmYour doggy would be a little darker and it could be a “picture” of my H’Ichi, she loves balloons ! Your card is lovely (of course as it looks a lot like my little baby !!!) and I’m happy to see that you’re also creating your own envelops.

April 11, 2018 at 1:40 pmCute card & yes you might as well join in the stitching fun & own a gazillion colors of DMC or whatever thread you choose! I’m a counted cross stitcher from years back so luckily own 5 boxes of assorted color ways. There’s a reason we crafters are sometimes known as hoarders……have a lovely day!
