Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of fun projects using the awesome Birthday Bash Kit by Queen & Co. I fell head over heels in love with this kit as soon as I saw the pom poms!!! So many pom poms in three different sizes and in rainbow colors, too!So I’ve created two clean and simple birthday cards using the kit.
For this first card I die cut an oval frame using one of the Stitched Oval dies and then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set included in the Birthday Bash Kit. Then using glossy accents, I adhered mini pom poms around the oval frame. So simple, yet perfect as can possibly be!
This next card was inspired by one I saw on the inspiration sheet that was included in the kit.
I die cut the ice cream cone using one of the dies that is included in the kit and then adhered the pom poms to create a three scoop ice cream cone WITH a cherry on top! Seriously, I can’t even with these pom poms!
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by!

July 23, 2018 at 9:37 amA beautiful card and a yummy card ! These pom-poms are a great idea so different from what we usually see.
I’m also an ice cream girl and I’m lucky enough to have a real Italian Gelateria just down my street. I’m very classical and my favorite ice cream is Fior di Latte with Caffè. But they have also a speciality : Crema di Nonna Elide : taste of custard with a little addition of limon…. just delicious !!!!! What about making a little stop over in Geneva to try it when you’ll come over to Europe to see your son ?

July 23, 2018 at 1:31 pmAdorable! I have a large bag of pom poms is assorted colors and sizes that I bough on clearance at Hobby Lobby several years ago. I had no use for them (but they were on SALE!). Now I’m off to dig them out for my cardmaking!

July 23, 2018 at 1:41 pmAfter harping at my hubby for his ice cream habit, he found a “Light” ice cream called something like Salted Caramel Carabou. It is the lightest, fluffiest, marshmallowiest vanilla with huge swirls of salty caramel sauce and tiny little chocolate candy cups full of salty caramel! 1/4 cup is 3 points on WW, and oh, so worth it! I’ve always been a rocky road fan, but this knocks rocky road outta the park! Now, getting back to your card making: That’s awesome, too! Love that die cut cone and all the beautiful colors of pompoms. I agree with the neutral on neutral. Let the color embellishments do the shoutin’! Yummy!
