Hi there! Have you seen the AWESOME new Friendly Frolic release by Simon Says Stamp? It’s so fun and I couldn’t wait to make a school bus shape card using the School Bus Messages set.To begin I stamped the school bus image from School Bus Messages with Gina K’s Amalgam ink, which is amazing! Then I colored the bus with copics. I die cut the bus using the coordinating School Bus Messages die. I die cut another bus outline to adhere to the back to create the shape card.
I added a couple of cutie patootie critters to the bus using the Picture Book Monkey & Chihuahua dies. I gave the monkey a bow tie using the Cuddly Critters Accessories die set. I also added glossy accents to the bus lights.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this little shape card.
There’s more cuteness where this came from. Check out the Friendly Frolic release HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

July 26, 2018 at 6:25 amYour shaped-card is just adorable ! I would love to get a ride in your bus !!! Can I take my dogs with me ? They love to go to school, dog-school of course, but the fact is they love to learn, or is it the treats they get for every well done exercice ? LOL !

LOL Our kids are older too; our son is alright with Batman cards still-even at age 26! Our daughter, 23 likes “cute” more than I do when it comes to cards, but she IS TRYING to be more grown up! LOL SUPER JOB on your SUPER CUTE School Bus Card!!!!!!!! ๐

July 27, 2018 at 11:38 pmI totally like understand what you mean about the like teenagers, ya know! Like seriously? You put a card in my lunch? You are SO embarrassing! You have like ruined my life.
Oh, yes, the drama is real! Luckily, you still have Emma. My baby is 13 in a month so I have no hope.

July 28, 2018 at 8:11 amLove it as usual. However, is that a Chihuahua? I always thought that was a French Bulldog like Simon. Don’t get me wrong, I love Chihuahuas…I grew up with Chihuahuas always in the family, but I kind of think that little critter is supposed to represent Simon the dog (plus, my little Stormy is 1/2 Frenchie, so I’m going with the French Bulldog theory.)
