Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August release blog hop. This is such a fun release full of products to help you swatch, experiment, practice or even play with your various color mediums.
I had fun playing with the Color Swatches stamp set and used it to create this colorful background grid. I stamped the row of squares repeatedly and painted each square using distress inks. I layered the Lacy Flower die over the painted background and added a sentiment from the new Adventures stamp set.I also created a small swatch chart of my most used distress ink cubes. This is just a small chart, but you could easily stamp the swatch images three times on a larger piece of watercolor paper and swatch as many as 72 colors. Swatch charts are a feast for the eyes, aren’t they? Here’s a video to show you how I created these projects.
GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate the blog hop, Waffle Flower is giving away $25 gift certificates to THREE lucky winners. Leave comments along the hop by 11:59pm ET on 8/12/18 for your chances to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the posts on this blog hop and will be announced on the Waffle Flower blog on 8/15/2018.
