Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their October Release Blog Hop.I’ve created a couple of projects using a few of the new sets from the new release. My first card features the adorable Yippee stamp set & coordinating dies.
For the background I blended Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. I also flicked a little bit of Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I colored the images with Copics and embossed the sentiment. To finish it off I added a few Colorful Confetti sequins.
This next card used the Pull-tab Tree die & the Add-on die. Isn’t this the coolest thing ever? When you pull the tab the tree pops out and becomes full & round.
For the background I used some Lawn Fawn pattern paper. I die cut the tree parts and blended each of them with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn. After assembling the tree, which by the way, you can find a tutorial on assembly over at Waffle Flower, I added so Nuvo Jewel Drops for colorful ornaments. In this next photo I was attempting to show how the tree folds flat to go inside an envelope. Pay no attention to my alien-like finger, ha!
I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card using the Christmas Tree stamp set.

I actually thought it was all one stamp until I looked at the set and realized you put the individual images together to create this larger image. I love it!! The pop up tree is great idea by waffle flower! You can never go wrong with interactive cards, in my opinion. They’re just fun and seem to be a hit with everyone.
