Hello there and Happy Mother’s Day to everyone! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Outline Floral Mom die along with a sentiment from one of the Sentiment Strips printables. Check out the video to see how I created this project HERE.
Today my family surprised my mom and I with a very special Mother’s Day lunch. The kids cleaned the house and decorated the dining room. They bought flowers, cookies and brownies from Panera. You can see my messy craft station in the background. It’s never clean. That’s a big roll of foam tape leaning up against the clock in case you were wondering. It’s pretty much a hot mess. I’m so thankful for my mom and that we can spend this day with her. Have I ever told you that my mom was the one who got me into card making? She invited me to a Stampin’ Up party. Yep, the rest is history!
Part of the feast was a huge tray of McDonalds french fries. They knocked it outta the park, I tell ya!!! I was in heaven. They get me. Also, this is my Target cardigan that I wear just about every single day of my life. If you’ve every watched my videos you’ve probably seen it. It’s like my security blanket.
I’m so thankful for this crazy crew of mine who made me a momma. They keep my days and my heart extremely full at all times.
Thank you so much for stopping by my little old blog time and time again and for your many encouraging words. Sending hugs to you todayβ€οΈ

May 12, 2019 at 10:14 pmHappy Mother’s Day to you as well Laura! I have watched you from afar for years. Love your wit and you to-the-point style and your STYLE! Well, I might be closer to your mom’s age but notheless, have been a fan for a long time. Today we had only phone calls with our kiddos, they are grown and no longer live close by. Such joy to have you share a part of your non-card making life with this post. It makes you real to all of us out here watching each week. Hang onto those babies, the time passes way too quickly. And keep sharing cuz we may not tell you enough, but we love all of it, and we love you too!

May 13, 2019 at 6:10 amI love this! Every. Single. Bit! I lost my youngest daughter in a car accident nearly three and a half years ago. Her birthday is May 11, so mother’s day is very hard for me. I still have, love, appreciate and celebrate two other biological children and two step children (all grown), but missing my sweet Maura makes it difficult for all of us. I love to see you and your big family celebration you like this! It makes my heart happy! πβ€οΈπ

LOL I wanted to tell you about the Brushes you mentioned over there…… I think you work for Picket Fence…., but PRICE is a BIG DEAL to me. May 13, 2019 at 9:40 amBrilliant video! Can’t wait to try it! I think you obviously are great at ink blending with the foam tools so you don’t “need” the brushes. someone who struggles with the foam will probably have better results with the brushes. But take it from me – they’re not miracle workers – you (i.e. ME) can struggle to get great results with the brushes too!
