Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August Release. These fun, new products are designed to help you organize your ink and paper supplies, BUT they can also be used to make some awesome designs on cards.
My first card features the Color Combos die set. I used the dies to create a colorful design using solid colored cardstock. I scrounged through my cardstock stash to find as many colors as I could to group together. Most of the time I could only come up with three shades so the darkest shade was created using the darkest shade of cardstock and a copic maker to make the strip slightly darker but yet still in the same color family.
For the sentiment I used the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set.
This next card used the Big Dots Die Set as well as the Big Dots Sentiment stamp set.
I used those same scraps of cardstock to fill in each of the holes. I popped up the panel and recessed each of the colorful dots. I gotta give the jewel picker tool a shout out for making this job a complete joy.

August 5, 2019 at 3:38 pmLove the vibrant colors displayed. Both cards looks so tidy. Your paper scraps go together so beautifully. I love the look of the circle overlay with the various colors beneath it, but it would be so tedious for a perfectionist like me.

August 5, 2019 at 6:42 pmI love your cards. I am confused as to how you cut so many different colors of circles. Did you tape small scraps to the die and then cut it once? Or did you cut one large sheet of each color? I love your videos because I always find a teachable moment.

August 6, 2019 at 11:37 amthis would be a fun way to make some cards and
get yourself organized. Paint a swatch and
use the color in a line on your card – a two-fer.
Before you know it, you have a completed
card and a wonderful filing system.
