Hi there! I’m back again with more Hello Bluebird. This time I’m featuring the adorable images from the Snowball Fight stamp set. For the sentiment I used Bold Holidays.
For the background I blended Scattered Straw and Cracked Pistachio. I also flicked some Scattered Straw & white ink. I colored the images with Copics and used the coordinating dies. For the sentiment, I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock onto a panel and then die cut the “merry” into it from Bold Holidays die set along with stamping a coordinating sentiment from the Bold Holiday stamp set.
Well, trick or treating was NOT the same here in Germany as it is in Illinois:) I new it would be different, but I didn’t realize how it would impact Emma. She was hoping for more candy, more kids out and about, more excitement. Good thing I bought some full size Twix and Snickers for her to come home to. We did get a couple of trick or treaters here. They don’t say, “trick or treat”. They say “Süß oder saueres”, which means sweet or sour? I think, ha ha…I’m always guessing. Hope you had a good one! Thanks so much for stopping by!

November 2, 2019 at 9:22 pmGorgeous and so cute Laura, I love those little critters!
Sorry for Emma that the trick or treat not went as aspected, whe also hardly celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands and I know that it’s in Germany the same.
Thanks for showing your beautiful card, have a great weekend.

November 6, 2019 at 12:04 amYou should have come over to our place for trick or treatin’! We are a German neighbourhood at the foot of Castle Frankenstein with lots and lots of kids, and it looked like even more were visiting, as the street was crowded with little monsters and other creatures… As we’re not really into Halloween ourselves, and only come home in the middle of all the kids running around, we usually put a sign on the door with a crossed out pumpkin to indicate there’s no use ringing. Worked well so far… I guess their “harvest” was satisfying, though! ;o)

November 6, 2019 at 4:54 pmThis is SO adorable!! Here Halloween was a bit disappointing for my 11 year old also. Not a lot of kids out and not a lot of houses participating but we did still have fun together 🙂
