Hi there! Today I’m joining Honey Bee Stamps for their 5th Anniversary Blog Hop. I have a fun project to share featuring the Buffalo Plaid Cover Plate Honey Cut.
I trimmed squares of solid colored cardstock to put behind each opening on the Buffalo Plaid die cut. For the sentiment I used the Friend stamp set along with the coordinating Friend-Honey Cuts.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
Honey Bee Stamps will be offering a $25 Gift Card for each day as a giveaway. Hop along & comment on each stop to be entered to win.

April 19, 2020 at 5:55 pmHi Laura, what a colorful card, sorry about your pity party, you should snack on pancakes while cooking so you get more than the last one! I thought you coloured behind each square, what a great way to use up some scraps, we all have lots of those.

April 19, 2020 at 6:04 pmSo cute!!! I think I have a small square punch that would work for making the colored background pieces. I’m a bit OCD. I like uniformity. LOL YOUR CARD IS WONDERFUL!!! Great dies.
Holding on by a thread..I think my thread broke about a week ago. Being a senior citizen, looks like no light at the end of the tunnel yet. God help us!

April 19, 2020 at 11:48 pmI love that card and I love that Buffalo Plaid cover die! I’m having my own pity party today. My four grandchildren live nearby, but I haven’t been able to see them for five weeks now, so it’s just me and the four walls. I’m so ready for life to return to normal. In the meantime, buying crafty things seems to make me feel better, so I’ll be visiting Honey Bee’s site and looking for a “mood boost.”
