Hi there! It’s September 1st which means that STAMPtember® 2020 is here! It’s a month long celebration with Simon Says Stamp starting with a fantastic new release and month long collaborations with many amazing stamp companies in our industry.
I have a couple of fun, simple and colorful projects to share using some of the new STAMPtember® products. This first card uses two new and very dear to my heart die sets called Geometric Builder Circles & Geometric Builder Squares. These are what your geometric lovin’ heart has been waiting for:)
I die cut one of the circle dies that has a pie like design out of solid colored cardstock and pieced them back together over an ivory square on a white card base with a simple sentiment from the Thinking of You Sentiment Strips.
For this next card I used the Etched Laurel Leaves die set. Again lots of solid colored cardstock arranged into a rainbow wreath design.
For the sentiment I used the new I am With You stamp set with my favorite new embellishments of all time…the Holographic Rainbow sequins…fuhgeddaboudi!
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

September 1, 2020 at 5:43 pmI watched the Stamptember intro video on Jennifer McGuire’s post and when she showed the Geometric Builder dies I immediately thought of you. “Wow,” I thought, “Laura is going to LOVE these!”. Little did I know that you designed them! Great job. I’ve tried to copy your wonderful geometric designs many times, but they often came out a little “off.” I guess I just don’t have the “jugge” (sorry about the spelling, but that word isn’t in my computer’s dictionary). These dies are definitely going on my wish list!

September 1, 2020 at 6:59 pmAwesome die and cards–and I’m sure there are more ideas in that head of yours and how great your son recognized it! I have an awesome son too–he actually got me started in this whole crazy journey when he was a young kid. He’s also got me figured out–he told me that I need to “create something” every day to stay happy and centered. What a guy-love our sons!
