Hi there! I’m back with another STAMPtember® Collaboration featuring Altenew. The stamp set is called Framed Friendship.
For the background I used one of the Geometric Builder Squares dies with several scraps of solid colored cardstock to create a colorful grid. I embossed the floral image from Framed Friendship in white onto vellum and the sentiment in white onto black.
Make sure and check out the Simon Says Stamp blog to see more inspiration using this fun, new STAMPtember® Collaboration. Thanks so much for stopping by!

September 9, 2020 at 1:05 pmI’m terrified of coloring botanical images so this idea is totally appealing and do-able for me!! Thanks for the continuous inspo, Ms Rain-Bow- Queen of card making.

September 6, 2020 at 6:49 pmIt’s is a really lovely card, Laura – you always do such wonderful work and you always inspire me.
I’m really ticked though. I wanted this set – first one I was going to buy of the collaborations. By 9 am on the west coast it was sold out. That’s not right and I’m letting SSS know. East coast folks should not get a 3 hour head start, and people shouldn’t be able to buy multiple copies per household. Other sets from Stamptember alre already up on eBay. at inflated prices. It isn’t right. We shouldn’t have to get up at 6 or stay up until midnight to compete – and even then, east coast gets midnight three hours earlier. There has to be a better way.
Again, it is a lovely card – even though I’m grumpy this morning!

September 6, 2020 at 8:50 pmYour creativity is beyond! I just love this card. I have a ton of precut little circles and squares so even though I don’t have my own die-cut machine, I think I could manage a similar card. I would never have thought of doing the part on vellum over my colorful design. Love how you did that aspect!! I agree w/ Joni (previous comment) although I am not outraged… I wish SSS would order more of these items when they do one of these big releases in Sept- excuse me – Stamptember. I keep telling myself: it’s just a stamp. But it’s annoying that once it’s sold out, it’s gone. I wish they would not make these limited editions. I have other things to do than be on the computer at the ding of midnight. Like sleep!
