Clearly Besotted STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi there! I’m back with another adorable STAMPtember® collaboration with Clearly Besotted called Skating By.

Coming from a hockey family who loves to skate on the pond. I have a soft spot for this adorable set.

I stamped the images in Memento and colored with Copics. I die cut a circle window opening onto Apricot cardstock & created a spinner by cutting a track with my craft knife and adhering two pennies with a foam dot in-between for the spinner mechanism. It’s exactly the same as the one I did on this card.

Here’s a quick peek at how the cute little kitty spins. This is exactly what I look like when I try to skate:) Meanwhile the rest of my family skates like they’re going to the olympics.

Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more inspiration using this cute new set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love it! I would love to see how you colour with your copics, the impact of high contrast of white space is very manga-esque.
Could you perhaps give a tutorial on how you use them? I always apply colour in the realism way or naive way of the mid century art style because that is how I was taught but I am dying to learn this new way, it is so cheerful and creative. Do you have a graphic arts background? (so many questions, sorry) There is something about the art in your cards that gives me that feeling.
