Hi there! Today I’m sharing this colorful project over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel featuring a few products from the latest April release.
For the stripes I used the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad. For the sentiment I used Spring Wreath, and for the vellum booms I used the Box Card Bouquet Die-namics. You can check out the video tutorial HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!

April 19, 2021 at 12:17 pmHi, L –
I’m potentially ashamed to say how many times I have offered kids a Starburst in class if they can get to that right answer. I’ve said to my husband before: I think certain kids would walk through a brick wall for a Starburst. I am OK with bribery; you’re in a difficult situation and desperate times call for desperate measures.
I ordered that alliterative (polka pattern paper pad) bunch of paper as soon as I saw it. I love p dots! I love the card and agree that the bright and kind of hard lines of the paper are mitigated / softened by the vellum floral element. Nicely done!
I continue to think you and pray for you and Alex. Hope things will ease. Therapy is never easy and just the rigmarole of gettting to all those appts can be a big fatiguing, too. I wish you luck!

p.s. Another viewer and I at YT wonder if you have a po box or an address to which we could send Alex some get-well wishes.

April 19, 2021 at 2:11 pmJust love your card. Really very pretty. Love the juxtaposition of the strong bright colours against the delicacy of the vellum. As it isn’t possible to wish Alex a speedy recovery, sending her very best wishes that she is back to full strength in good time ❤️

April 19, 2021 at 3:43 pmGorgeous card Laura. I love the contrast between the colours and the vellum.
Glead to hear Alex is getting better and is in less pain. Everything you experience is normal, you are a mother and a good one! Let her know everyone is thinking of her so her recovering will go fast.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

April 19, 2021 at 4:34 pmGreat card Laura, loving those dotted rainbows! I’m glad Alex is doing better, it’s certainly a long process, so important not to rush the rehab! Of course follow the PT’s directions completely–over doing it is just as bad as not doing it. Thanks for all the inspiration!
