Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their November Release Blog Hop. You can check out the fabulous new products HERE!
My card features the Folk Garden 2 Hot Foil Plate. I foiled the design with gold and used the coordinating Folk Garden 2 Stencil Set to blend the color. For the sentiment I used the Brushed Sentiments Stencil Set & Coordinating Dies. I also added a vellum frame behind using the Essential Stitched Scallop Circle dies.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
GIVEAWAYS:
-Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel.
-They will also be giving away a total of TEN $25 gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops – the winners will be picked from the comments.

November 3, 2021 at 7:35 amLaura, I just have to thank you for making me laugh and smile in addition to sharing your beautifulcreations. I twisted my ankle a year ago, which in turn caused a PCL sprain. I have never had an injury either, so I know what a rude awakening it can be. Hope you are on the mend, be sure not to push yourself…it will just set you back. Chocolate!!!

November 3, 2021 at 2:27 pmGorgeous card Laura~ love this new release. Your kids are right –RICE is the key to any kind of injury, be it athletic or just taking a fall–Rest Ice Compression Elevation. I’ve been in the healing biz for 40 years. Heat increases the swelling so you don’t want to use it for at least 72 hours or until All or Most of the swelling goes down! Also should probably see a Dr. and make sure you don’t have a tear or fracture.

And the stories, though sorry about your fall. Those are always scary moments- gravity is powerful. You made this incident funny, though of course it wasn’t.

November 3, 2021 at 4:54 pmp.s. I am sorry to hear of your injury and subsequent pity party, but it made me feel better. Sometimes, it’s the feeling that we need someone to come to our rescue or just to notice that we’re having a hard time and hand us a piece of dark chocolate or a lovely cookie of some sort. Hope you heal quickly. And it was super-nice of Hank to stay w/ you. I would have asked hubs to come and pick me up. Walking on that probably cost you……..

November 3, 2021 at 11:18 pmThe card is stunning. All those details coming together for a gorgeous design. I love it. btw, I fell backwards off a milk crate “stool” today in the back yard and smacked my head on a wrought iron bench. Nice knot on my head, but I lay there thinking, well, I didn’t pass out so I must be ok. Back to work. I do know very keenly exactly how you felt, so much, much sympathy. Bulk up on the chocolate.

November 5, 2021 at 5:28 pmThese stamps, dies, foil plates and stencils are a stamping world changer. The stencils allow one to color in the stamped image in a matter of seconds. No longer have to sit and color each little design and make sure you stay in the lines. The foiling dies add the touch of bling that tops off the entire design. Love all of the designs. Hard to pick just one.

November 7, 2021 at 1:33 pmFabulous card, I love the pop of gold the foiling gives this card. It has a real Folky feel to it… I wonder how it would look in the colours of Russian folk ware of gold and red on a black background?…. Looks like I’ve found my next card😂
