Are You Kitten Me?

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Halloween Friends set by Simon Says Stamp. I used only the kitten image repeatedly to create a non-halloween card.

I stamped the kitten images with Intense Black ink and colored them with copics. For the background I used a sheet from one of the Pastel Color Blends Assortment Pack. I embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock from the Punny Animals set and popped the images and sentiment up using 3D foam squares.

Our little cat, Frankie, looks exactly like the bottom, middle cat. He is very thin and always arched up, stretching and giving you this blank stare. Not sure what he’s trying to say. My son brought him home from Germany so maybe that’s where the communication gap is? The moving truck comes today to load everything in our house, and tomorrow we leave very early to start a new chapter in Minnesota. Our family is excited, a little sentimental and very exhausted all at the same time. We have been purging and purging and packing and purging. The bags just keep coming and coming. It never stops.

I am very excited to have my own craft room in this new house. I will, hopefully, try and document the process. Looking forward to sharing more with you from Minnesota. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Best wishes for the move. I look forward to future videos. Hope it doesn’t take too long to settle. I have been in my house since 1965, and there is too much to ever be emptied.
    Love everything you do.

Hope Hank the Tank loves his new home.

Enjoy your new home and especially your new craft room. I can’t imagine not having your own space for card making with all the different supplies it takes. If I can’t see it, I don’t use it.

Welcome to my state of Minnesota! I can only guess that you are coming for the HOCKEY. Am I right?? 🙂
You are going to love your own craft room. And the best part is that you are starting from scratch so you will know where everything is.
Here’s hoping you find some long forgotten craft supplies and that our MN humidity does not scare you away.
