Box of Cards

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a little reel over on Instagram of a cute little box of cards I like to put together for friends.

I always refer to this handy tutorial on Jennifer McGuire’s blog for how to put the box together(she’s a genius). I use whatever 12 x 12″ pattern paper I have on hand. This time I used some pretty paper by Pinkfresh Studio. I love to personalize the back of my cards with a stamp that I got from Bossy Joscie. I love to include some envelopes. This time I had some cute ones by Honey Bee Stamps. All of the cards in this box were using Concord & 9th products, but usually I just throw in whatever cards I have on hand. This is a great way to use up those cards that pile up and a cute, little gift for birthdays, hostess gifts or teacher, etc.

Flower Press & Triple-Step Posy Print

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few more projects from the Concord & 9th April release.

Concord & 9th-Triple-Step Posy Print

My first two projects featuring the Triple-Step Posy Print Stamp Set & Die Set. I used the stamp set above with a matte gold hello word die. Below I used the die set with several of the gorgeous solid colored cardstock colors.

My next two cards feature the Flower Press Stencil Pack.

I used several of the Concord & 9th ink colors. Above I used the hello die cut again with some enamel dots for embellishment. Below I used the big hugs from the Just Say More die set.

Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their April Release Blog Hop. You can check out the incredible, new release HERE!

Pinkfresh Studio-Rosettes, Basic Banners: Celebrate, Wrap Around Elements

I had so much fun creating this card. To begin I used the Rosetted Layering Stencil Set with several Pinkfresh Studio inks. I used the coordinating Rosettes Dies to cut them out. This is where the gorgeous, new Dual-Tip Embellishment Tool comes in handy! For the background I used the Wrap Around Elements Die Set with white tissue paper for a fringe-tastic backdrop and for the sentiment I used the new Basic Banners: Celebrate Stamp & Die Set.

Concord & 9th-Mod Turnabout & Just Say More

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few more projects from the April release with Concord & 9th featuring the Mod Turnabout Stamp Set & Just Say More Die Set.

Concord & 9th-Mod Turnabout, Just Say More

My first card features the Mod Turnabout Stamp Set. I stamped it using the Jig and all four turns with Honeycomb ink. For the sentiment I used the “Big Hugs” word die from the Just Say More Die Set with Aqua Sky cardstock. I added some enamel dots for little pops of color.

Concord & 9th-Just Say More Dies

My next card uses the jumbo heart die from the Just Say More Die Set. I die cut the “hi” into the Carnation heart and stripped it up behind the opening using Dragonfruit, Poppy, Sorbet, Grapefruit, Clementine, Buttercup, Lemongrass & Blueberry cardstock strips.

Concord & 9th-Just Say More Dies

This next card is a super simple “Take Care” card using the word die & hearts from Just Say More and the background was stamped using the Pebble ink on Pebble cardstock with the Triple-Step Posy Print stamp set.

Concord & 9th-Mod Turnabout, Just Say More Dies

My last card uses the Mod Turnabout on the background. I stamped on Grapefruit cardstock using Sorbet, Grapefruit & White pigment ink. I only stamped three rotations leaving a bit of empty space for the design. The jumbo heart is from the Just Say More dies with Juniper, Tidepool & Aqua Sky cardstock. The sentiment is from the Triple-Step Posy Print stamp set.

Concord & 9th-Color Combo Swatching

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few projects from the new April release with Concord & 9th. First up is a look at the new Swatchbook Stamps & Dies that allow you to swatch out your favorite cardstocks and inks. I have a few swatches below of colors that I especially love together.

Concord & 9th-Swatchbook Bundle

Below is a card using the new Triangle Background Die Set. I’m not saying that Concord & 9th made this die set for me, but it sure feels like it:) It is right up my geometric lovin’ alley! Here is did the background out of Nectar, which is a gorgeous new color and then scattered triangles throughout the design using several colors. The matte gold “hi” is from the Just Say More Dies along with delicious Dew Drops.

Concord & 9th-Triangles Background

This next card was inspired by one of the swatches from my swatchbook. I used the Triangle Background Die again with a sentiment embossed from the Triple-Step Posy Print Stamp Set.

Concord & 9th-Triangles Background

Here you can see exactly how the swatch inspired the card. I love these sort of “arizona-ish” feeling colors. You could customize this card design with any swatch with six colors.

Concord & 9th-Triangles Background

Next is another variation using the Triangle Background Dies. I did notice that there was Dove on my swatch, but my card is actually using Pebble for the background. Either way both grays look fantastic. Pebble is a little warmer than Dove, but both are gorgeous. Here is used a matte gold “hello” die from the Triple-Step Posy Print Die Set with a few gold pearls.

Concord & 9th-Triangles Background

One final peek at my swatches. I can’t wait to make a few more. Make sure and check out all the fun, new colors over at Concord & 9th. There are also new coordinating ink pads and ink cubes to match!
