To Be Loved Release

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects featuring some of the new To Be Loved release by Simon Says Stamp.

My first card uses the Pinnacle Hearts embossing folder. First I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock to a panel and then ran it through the embossing folder to give the heart texture. I stamped and embossed a sentiment from Always and Forever and adhered it to a shimmer vellum heart using the Lined Heart die set. For embellishment I used some of the Conversation Hearts Embellishment Mix.

This next card uses the leftover strips with the Lined Heart die. For the background I used the Dancing Floral embossing folder. For the sentiment I used the Always and Forever set again.

CASE-ing a card with Michelle Lupton

Hi there! Today I’m joining my crafty friend Michelle for her CASE me a Christmas Card series. I have to admit upfront. My card is not anything close to a Christmas card so I’m choosing to call this CASE me a card at Christmas time, lol.

Below is Michelle’s card that inspired me. I love how she added that strip of color leaving the edges of the blooms white. You can find her blog post HERE.

Here is my card inspired by Michelle’s. I used the Tumbling Flowers Stencil & Embossing Folder along with the CZ Scripty Hugs die for the sentiment.

Here is a video showing how I created my card.

Your Paper Insider Box & Paper Smooches

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple projects using the latest Paper Insider Box. This is a fun paper subscription box full of all sorts of solid & specialty papers.

Your Paper Insider & Paper Smooches

For this first card I used the Berries & Boughs embossing folder on the background. They sent me some freebie files to use with the Paper Insider Box. The cute freebies are designed by Paper Smooches. I used my Silhouette machine to cut the sentiment & holly leaves & added enamel dots for the berries.

Your Paper Insider & Paper Smooches

This next card uses the Twinkling Stars embossing folder for the background. I used another two freebie digi files to cut the star and joy sentiment out of metallic cardstocks included in the box.

For embellishment I added some clear Dazzling Gems.

I used the Sweethearts Box die for this next treat box. I used one of the heart dies to create a window in the box and backed it with acetate. I used the Exotic Blooms dies for the flower and added some red & white twine.
