Concord & 9th-Feature Friday

Hi there! I’m back with my final Concord & 9th Feature Friday project. This week’s challenge was to use the spectrum featuring the new cardstock or ink colors.

Concord & 9th-Thank You For Being

I die cut several mini floral blooms using the smallest bloom in the Fresh Cut Florals Dies Edition 3 set.

Concord & 9th-Thank You For Being

For the sentiment I used the Thank You for Being stamp set. I framed the sentiment by die cutting an Ivory panel with a Nesting Oval die.

I adhered a clear drop into the center of each bloom. Make sure and check out the Concord & 9th blog & Instagram to see more inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Concord & 9th-Feature Friday

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a Feature Friday project for Concord & 9th using some of my favorite new colors.

Concord & 9th-Fresh Cut Florals Dies Edition 3, Hey Bestie

I am absolutely head over heels for the new Stardust color. It’s so unique and pairs perfectly with Dove & Mushroom. I created some flowers using the Fresh Cut Florals Dies Edition 3 dies.

I added some strips of cardstock on an angle behind the flowers in Aqua Sky, Oceanside, Peacock, Stardust, Dove & Mushroom. For the sentiment I used the Hey Bestie stamp set.

Concord & 9th Color Release

Hi there! Just popping in to share the news that the Concord & 9th Color Release is finally available for purchase HERE! There are 22 new inks & matching cardstocks in the most gorgeous colors.

Concord & 9th-Color Release

These new inks are delicious. They are different than other inks I’ve used. They have a firmer pad and are juicy, but not too juicy. When they dry, the ink smooths out like butter. Some of these hearts were only stamped once. The darker shades stamp so vividly. I find the bleeding minimal and the stamped impression to be pleasantly sharp.

My project here uses all 22 new ink colors. I stamped each one with a small heart from the Hey Bestie stamp set. For the sentiment I used the Tall Type Alpha dies with gold glittered cardstock.

Concord & 9th-Thank You for Being & Warm Wishes

Hi there! Today I’m back with Concord & 9th sharing a couple of project using the Thank You for Being & Warm Wishes sets.

Concord & 9th-Thank You For Being

For this card I created a shaker by die cutting the Thank You for Being frame to create a shaker window. I filled the shaker with left over hexagons from the Hexagon die. The sentiment is from the Thank You for Being set.

This next project features the Warm Wishes set.

Concord & 9th-Warm Wishes Bundle

I stamped the large and small Turnabout star designs from Warm Wishes and used the coordinating dies to create a window opening and popped up the smaller star. I used the Warm Wishes stamps & dies for the sentiments.

Concord & 9th-Hexagons

Hi there! I’m back with Concord & 9th featuring the Hexagon Designer dies. As you can probably imagine, I had myself a hay-day with these gorgeous geometric dies.

Concord & 9th-Hexagon Designer & Tall Type Alpha dies

Both of my cards were inspired by photos that I’ve seen on Pinterest.

Here’s this gorgeous quilt that I saw on Pinterest that inspired my card. It’s by Modern Handcraft. I LOVE the rows of colors along with the white space.

I used the outline hexagon grid from the Hexagon dies as a guide to adhere all the colored hexagons in rows onto Khaki cardstock. Using a Jewel Picker for this is a must have! For the sentiment I used the Tall Type Alphabet dies with gold foil cardstock.

This next card is very similar, but I adhered the rows horizontally this time onto Ivory cardstock.

This stunning honeycomb wall with it’s sherbet-y colors, light wood and white space were my inspiration. It is by Vintage Revivals.

I used the Tall Type Alphabet dies with gold foil cardstock for the sentiment again.

Concord & 9th Kindness Blooms & Tall Type

Hi there! Today I’m joining Concord & 9th and sharing a couple of projects using their November release.

Concord & 9th-Kindness Blooms

This project uses the Kindness Blooms Turnabout stamp set along with the coordinating Kindness Blooms dies. For the background & blooms I used Altnenew & Pinkfresh inks. The background panel is Ivory cardstock & the sequins are by Simon Says Stamp. Have you tried the Turnabout Stamps before? They are SO FUN. There’s some great tutorials on how to use them which helped me a ton.

This next card uses the Tall Type dies. I love this tall & skinny font. It’s perfect for creating your own custom sentiment or even personalizing a project with a name. I created a holiday project using “merry & bright”.

Concord & 9th-Tall Type

I adhered Color Crush cardstock under the negative space of each letter and mounted the die cut panel onto some Subtle Grey Tones pattern paper by Sunny Studios.

STAMPtember® Exclusive Limited Edition: Concord & 9th

Hi there! I’m back with another exclusive collaboration for STAMPtember®! This time we are featuring the adorable Monster Hugs stamp set designed by Concord & 9th.STAMPtember®-Concord & 9th-Monster HugsI immediately thought of Sully from the Monsters, Inc. movie. We have watched that movie a million times over the years and it’s still one of my favorites, but nothing will ever beat Ratatouille for me, though:)
STAMPtember®-Concord & 9th-Monster HugsAnyways, I simply stamped the adorable images from Monsters Hugs with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. This is a smaller 3.5 x 5″ card. Sometimes you just can’t beat a super simple one-layer-wonder, right?
