Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects where I experiment with clean, modern stitching on my cards.
I was inspired by the talented Rachel Parker Designs. Her beautiful stitching pieces are so fresh and geometric. I wanted to try something similar on a card.
I created my own stitching panels by punching holes using a thin needle. For the floss I used some cheap neon floss that I picked up at the dollar store. Gotta love a dollar store find! I took one single strand of thread out of the embroidery floss to make is super skinny, which gives an easy, breezy feel.
For the sentiments I used the CZ Reverse Love Sentiment Strips, and die cut them using one of the Sentiment Label dies.
I love the clean, geometric lines with lots of white space and bright pops of neon color.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
