Leafy Frame
So Grateful for You
July 31, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing another project using some of the fun new products from the Friendly Frolic release by Simon Says Stamp. To begin I blended distress inks onto bristol paper. Then I took a few of the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors and flicked Key Lime over the Twisted Citron, Aquamarine over the Mermaid Lagoon and Sapphire over the Blueprint Sketch. I love how this turned out. I die cut these ink blended panels using the Leafy Frame die, creating two leafy frames to layer.
For the sentiment I used the Uplifting Sentiments. Then I flicked Licorice watercolor over the white card base. I adhered the green leafy frame panel flat onto the card base and popped up the blue leafy framed panel with foam tape for dimension. To finish it off I added a few sequins in like colors using the Chameleon & Pool Party sequin mixes.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
