For the sentiment I used the Good Luck dies by CZ Design. For this next card I blended the same Distress Inks colors and Mod Stripes Stencil. Happy STAMPtember®!
September 1, 2018Happy STAMPtember® everyone!! This is going to be a month long party full of amazing new products, but today we are celebrating the exclusive new STAMPtember® release by Simon Says Stamp.
Ya’ll know how I feel about the Picture Book dies, right? Well, they’ve made them bigger! They are so adorable and with this size you can do lots of fun things including making cutie patootie shape cards.
This first shape card uses the Big Picture Book Hippo. I used Fog and Smoke cardstock for the face along with Cotton Candy for the inner ears & Black for the eyes.
And this next one is the Big Picture Book Lion. To make the shape card, I traced the outline of each animal onto a white card base and fussy cut them out, being careful to leave a hinge at the top of each one. Then I adhered the solid colored cardstock over top to create the faces.
The last one is my favorite featuring the Big Picture Book Kitty. There’s so much more to see of this fantastic new release. Make sure and check out the Simon Says Stamp blog to see more! Thanks so much for stopping by!

September 24, 2017Hi there! Today I’m excited to share yet another fantastic STAMPtember® exclusive by Art Impressions called To Perfection. Don’t you love Art Impressions? I do. They, without fail, always make me laugh.I simply stamped the image with Memento Ink using my Mini Misti onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it in with Copics. Their expressions just make me laugh and I think of so many of my friends, although I would most likely be forking my face full of french fries over cheese:)
I embossed the sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock and popped it up in the center.

STAMPtember®-CZ Designs
September 18, 2017Hi there! I’m back with a couple of fantastic new STAMPtember® exclusives designed by Cathy Zielske. I love, love, love Cathy’s style & especially her humor and her new sets certainly do not disappoint! This first project features the Hollaween set. To create the background I used the ghost die from the coordinating Hollaween die set and die cut an entire panel of Fog cardstock repeatedly. Then I played the die cut Fog panel over top of a white card base and stamped the ghost images inside each die cut opening using Simon Says Stamp inks.
I stamped the “holla” and embossed the other coordinating sentiments and popped everything up with foam tape. To finish it off I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops in coordinating colors.
Next up is the Coolest Yulest set & the Hos dies. I used the smaller of the Hos dies with the White Glittered cardstock. I stacked up several die cuts for dimension.
I adhered several strips of red & green cardstock together to created a colorful, striped panel to contrast the glittered die cuts and then added an embossed coordinating sentiment from Coolest Yulest. To finish off I added a few Studio Katia Sparkling Crystals.
