The Greetery-Icing Collection

Hi there! Today I’m excited to share several projects showcasing the gorgeous new Icing Collection by The Greetery.
First up is a project featuring the Nordic Tree. For the background I used the Ribbon Frame and for the sentiment I used the Scripted Holiday Sentiments.

The Greetery-Nordic Tree

I also created a tag using the Nordic Tree die. It’s a perfect fit for a tall tag.

The Greetery-Nordic Tree

This card features the Nordic Birds. The detail is incredible! Of course I had to stack them in rainbow order. I used the Ribbon Maker: Crystal Strand Die to emboss the snowflake texture along the sides of the card. For the sentiment I used the Winter Crest set.

The Greetery-Nordic Birds

Next is the Inside & Out Holiday Tags. This is such a fun stamp that allows you to create eight tags at once. Here I embossed in gold, stamped tone on tone and black on cream for three different variations.

The Greetery-Inside & Out Holiday Tags

I used the new Ornamental Tags Die Set to create these individual tags. I also added some shading using the Inside & Out Tags Stencil. I felt pretty good about myself when my daughter walked in, saw these tags and said, “Mom, these are giving Anthropology!” I’ll take it!

The Greetery-Inside & Out Holiday Tags

Here is a tag on a small gift box. I used the Ribbon Maker: Crystal Strand Die with vellum to create a wrap for the box. I added the leaves using the Large Leaves: Magnolia Die.

The Greetery-Crystal Strand

Next up is the Frost Buds Die Set. This is so pretty in vellum. I used the Crystal Sequin mix to add some sparkly embellishments. For the sentiment I used the Scripted Holiday Sentiments embossed in silver and the tiny banner sentiment is white embossed on vellum.

The Greetery-Frost Buds

This next card uses the Frost Buds again along with the Scripted Holiday Sentiments. I love the subtle Nectar background for this.

The Greetery-Frost Buds

And lastly, but probably my favorite are these adorable Hey Honeycomb dies along with the colorful Honeycomb Balls Party Mix. I created these tags using some pattern paper and the Hey Honeycomb Holiday Stamp Set for the sentiments.

Create a Custom Calendar

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun way to create a custom calendar using some of the The Are the Days release products from The Greetery.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms, One Fine Day

I used the Birth Month Blooms Stamp set to stamp the blooms on the cover along with a sentiment from One Fine Day.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms, One Fine Day

Each calendar page was stamped using the Calendar Basics Set. I then blended the color into the grids using the Calendar Grid Stencil.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

I added blooms to each calendar page using the Birth Month Blooms sets.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

I used the Spiral Bound Die to add the top spiral border to each page and then bound it with the gold coils.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

Using the Calendar Basics set I could customize the name of the month, day of the week as well as adding hearts to certain days for birthday reminders.

Custom Birthday Calendar Cards

Hi there! This month I have the honor of joining The Greetery again to showcase some amazing new products from their These Are The Days release available tomorrow, July 30th.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

I’m sharing a few custom birthday calendar cards using the new Calendar Basics Stamp Set along with the Birth Month Blooms Stamp Sets. There are four different Birth Month Blooms Stamp Sets, one for each quarter. These are beautiful floral layering stamp sets. Above I stamped the rose and below I used the Hawthorn, which is technically the month of May bloom, but here I used it for an August birthday.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

I used the Calendar Basics Stamp Set on each card to make a little calendar and added hearts or dates to the recipients birthdate. For the cards above and below I also used the Calendar Grid Stencil to add color to the grid. I also flicked some distress inks above in Antique Linen and below in Peacock Feathers.

The Greetery-Calendar Basics, Birth Month Blooms

My last card also uses the Spiral Bound dies to add the trim at the top of the panel. I stamped several blooms for this card and embossed the sentiment from One Fine Day in gold onto white. I added a linear calendar to the card on the upper left side of the cream cardbase. It’s hard to see clearly in the photo, but the video shows it in a bit more detail.

Here is a video showing how I created these cards.
